ADF Teacher and Classroom Grants
The Academic Distinction Fund (ADF) and Foundation for East Baton Rouge School System (FEBRSS) exist to support academic excellence in East Baton Rouge Parish School System. ADF and FEBRSS are seeking proposals from elementary, middle and high school teachers in East Baton Rouge Parish School system to put imaginative ideas into action which will enhance the quality of learning and stimulate student academic achievement in classrooms and schools.

The addition to STEAM kits in every classroom allows teachers to integrate those concept into lesson creating an enhanced learning environment for all student especially visual and kinesthetic learners.

The development of a classroom that encourages collaboration, problem solving, creativity and the testing of ideas. The students were inspired and had the ability to innovate, prototype and research in teams.

The use of musical arts to enhance the learning experience of students in English Language Arts classes.

Enhancing the learning experience in the classroom by providing student centered classroom arrangement and rewards to provide a better learning opportunity.

The enhancement of the technology aptitude of kindergarten students in coding, which will prepare them for future academic pursuits.

Enhancing the cognition of kindergarten students through: critical thinking, problem solving games, and books.

Development of a curriculum that engages 21st century learners that align the Louisiana Student Standards and ISTE standards for an innovative learning experience.

Connecting students with STEM concepts that can be read about as well as tangible through a Pollination lesson that includes visual, auditory, read/write, and kinesthetic learns.

Developing a greenhouse as an extension of the current school garden by increasing vegetable productions and to introduce a fish pond to add in the fight against the community food desert.

Developed an after school program for 4th and 5th grade student who have a passion for choral music and performance.

Development of a new "AGRO-Entrepreneurship" course where students plan production of produce from start to finish.

The enhancing mathematics skills along with introduction to entrepreneurship in this project allowed students to prepare for standardized testing and also relieve stress before the big test.

Provide an opportunity for students to be creative while utilizing technology and having fun.

3D printer and Little Bit kits that will help to give all students access to the technology for their PBL project products.

Exercising flexibility in the classroom seating chart allows ESS student to have a more calm and productive learning environment.

To integrate Digital Arts and Media into the current Art program to allow for an enhanced learning experience not only in the art classes but students core classes as well.
