Purpose:This project is designed to get kindergarten students thinking at higher levels. These critical thinking, problem solving games, and books will help spark these young learners minds.

The purpose of this grant is to help these young learners to begin thinking deeper. These critical thinking skills and problem solving skills are lacking in young children. Teaching gifted education has me working to get more young students to think more critically. This is due to the low numbers of students passing the gifted evaluation each year. These skills are fostered through games and project but can be applied academically in reading, math, and science. It will help students reach their full potential!

Impact: My project was very successful this year. It is complete. I had two students this year take the full gifted evaluation and because of the critical thinking games that were purchased both of the students passed their evaluation. I will continue to use these games for future students as well as share the knowledge they have provided me with to other colleagues. Thank you for providing the opportunity to my students.
