Let's band together to help every EBR band student march with pride! We’re raising funds to provide new marching band uniforms for EBR high schools.
For decades, EBR high school bands have built a legacy of excellence, recognized across Louisiana and beyond. Band Together EBR is a fundraising campaign to provide new marching band uniforms for 11 EBR high schools so every student can proudly represent their school and community. These schools include Belaire, Broadmoor, Capitol, Glen Oaks, Istrouma, Liberty, McKinley, Northeast, Scotlandville, Tara, and Woodlawn.
High school band is so much more than halftime entertainment. For thousands of students across East Baton Rouge Parish, band is a classroom of discipline, leadership, teamwork, and creativity.
Being part of a band opens doors to unforgettable experiences such as marching in Mardi Gras parades, performing at festivals, and competing locally, regionally, and nationally. These moments build pride, unity, and confidence that last a lifetime.
Band participation also helps prepare students for college and future careers by teaching responsibility, time management, and collaboration. These are skills that extend far beyond the marching field.
Here is the challenge:
- Uniforms cost $35,000 to $45,000 per school.
- Many of the 11 EBR high schools are still using uniforms that are decades old or well beyond their lifespan.
- Some schools currently have no band uniforms at all.
Without uniforms, students miss the chance to represent their schools with the pride and professionalism they deserve. A new uniform is more than fabric. It is a symbol of belonging, unity, and school spirit.
When you give to Band Together EBR, you help students stand taller, shine brighter, and carry a legacy of excellence into the future with pride.
