Celebrating Innovation in the Classroom: 2025 Star STEM Teacher Grant Winners Announced

We’re thrilled to celebrate the recipients of this year’s Star STEM Teacher Grants, made possible through the incredible generosity of ExxonMobil Baton Rouge and administered by the Foundation for East Baton Rouge School System. A heartfelt thank you to ExxonMobil for their continued partnership and unwavering support of innovation in math and science classrooms across East Baton Rouge Schools.

We also want to extend our sincere appreciation to all the amazing EBR teachers who applied for this year’s grants. Your dedication to creating engaging, hands-on STEM learning experiences continues to inspire us and reflects the excellence within our schools.

About the Star STEM Teacher Grants

The Star STEM Teacher Grants were created to empower educators with the resources they need to spark curiosity and innovation in their classrooms. Open to 4th–12th grade educators in East Baton Rouge Parish public schools, the program awards each winner $2,500 to design and implement a hands-on, classroom-based STEM project.

These grants support teachers in developing creative lessons that encourage problem-solving, critical thinking, and real-world applications of science, technology, engineering, and math. It’s an exciting opportunity to bring innovation and creativity directly to students and helping them see how STEM connects to the world around them.
