Since joining the Board of Directors in 2018, Jamey Firnberg has been a steadfast champion for innovation, equity, and excellence in public education across East Baton Rouge Parish. As President and CEO of School Aids, a company dedicated to enhancing educational resources and support, Jamey brought both strategic acumen and a heartfelt commitment to advancing student success.

With a deep-rooted family background in education and a personal passion for giving back to the community, Jamey’s service on the board has been defined by a clear focus on what matters most—students and educators. He has played a critical role in shaping the Foundation’s strategic planning efforts, ensuring that every initiative is aligned with long-term impact and meaningful support for the EBR school system.

Jamey's leadership also helped drive several key student-focused initiatives during his tenure.
