Due to the current global scarcity of the to-go meal resources necessary to provide food to our school children, your donations went from extremely valuable to truly invaluable. By providing these items directly, you helped ensure that our community’s children were fed.

Eighty percent (80%) of our public school students rely heavily upon meals served in school at no or reduced cost to them due to their family’s socioeconomic status. Eighty percent. Without these portable meal boxes and supplies, cafeteria food could not have been served curbside (as the mandatory Coronavirus protocol required) and therefore would not have reached hungry children.

We cannot say a big enough thank you. We can only say that you, our donors and supporters, have truly embodied the “One Team, One Mission” motto of EBRPSS. By being a part of the public school support team, you have helped to fulfill their one mission – to build the future of Baton Rouge through caring for our public school children.
